What is a Cloud Workspace?

Workspaces are secure central repositories where team members gather and organize important files to enable better decision-making via AI while ensuring controlled access.

What is a Cloud Workspace? Workspaces empowers teams to work together efficiently, securely, and with utmost productivity. A Workspace is akin to a SharePoint site, granting authorized employees access to specific files and data. By going to the Strategy Cloud tab of your dashboard, you will be able see the Workspaces that you are a Member of. cloud

Roles within the Workspace: Within a Workspace, we have two important roles: Workspace Admins and Members. Workspace Admins hold the keys to customization, setting up the Workspace settings to align with your project requirements. Members, on the other hand, are the employees invited to collaborate within the Workspace. It's worth noting that Workspace Admins are also considered Members, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the project.

User IBAC: Security is of utmost importance, and our User IBAC system ensures that sensitive information is shared with the right people. When an employee is added to an Account, they are assigned a User IBAC number by the Account Super Admin. This number acts as a clearance level, dictating the files they can access. By following the Principle of Least Privilege, our platform ensures that employees only see the information necessary for their specific roles, promoting data security.

File IBAC and Access: The Files residing within the Workspace are protected and kept private. Each Workspace Member has the ability to view and download every file contained within the Workspace. However, access by employees who aren't Workspace Members is determined by the security settings defined by the Workspace Admins. This way, you have full control over who can access your project files. Furthermore, Workspace Members can effortlessly upload, update, or delete files, empowering everyone to keep the information current and relevant. To ensure maximum security, all files are encrypted both at rest and during transit.

File IBAC: Our File IBAC system forms the foundation of our robust security strategy. When uploading files to a Workspace, the uploader assigns a File IBAC number to each document. This numerical tag represents the document's sensitivity level, enabling precise access control and data protection. From public documents denoted by lower numbers (e.g., #10) to highly confidential files indicated by higher numbers (e.g., #80), File IBAC ensures that sensitive information remains accessible only to authorized individuals.

Workspace Metrics and Analytics: At the top of each Workspace dashboard, you'll find insightful metrics and analytics. Three key metrics take center stage: Answers, Users, and Topics. The Answers metric captures every instance where an authenticated user asks a question and receives a relevant answer related to a file within the Workspace. Users represents the count of unique individuals engaged within the selected time period, offering valuable insights into employee involvement. Lastly, Topics signifies the number of unique subjects users inquire about, providing a comprehensive view of the topics employees find valuable.

Workspace Strategy Chat Links: Within a Workspace, a User has the convenience of utilizing the Strategy Chat link, fostering real-time discussions related to the files contained within the Workspace. This seamless integration ensures that Users can discover valuable insights that lead to better decision-making.

In summary, Workspaces are dedicated virtual spaces where teams can gather files and prepare them to be used by Strategy AI. These files are private and secure with access managed by Workspace Admins.
